My primary spiritual practice is Ashtanga Yoga –

My approach to the practice is very traditional, yet grounded in humor and modern application. Things I have learned from my two main teachers, Tim Miller and Anthony ‘Prem’ Carlisi, both certified teachers who have been with Sri K. Pattabhi Jois when he first started accepting western students and have experienced a very different teaching and sharing approach than the one offered in most yoga studios today.

My upcoming teacher trainings retreats will allow students to discover the magic of seeing each student as they practice and how to “see” the subtle body express itself through the “gross body.”

Visit my ashtanga blog to read about my integrative expressions in describing the primary series from a traditional perspective, while weaving concepts from the meridian and western anatomy theories.

Join me on facebook for upcoming workshops, retreats and classes.

That’s awesome. P90X – Yoga X incorporates Ashtanga Yoga as the primary yoga as well!

Yeah, I loved the way Tony weaved in the principles of Yoga into this workout program.
As an ashtangi it was nice to see the credit he gave to the practice.
